Volume 2 is where this story really gets going. If you enjoyed Uniques so far, or if you've thought it looked cool but were waiting for the right time to get in, this is the part we've been looking forward to the most. Here, the characters are tested in ways they've never been. We're looking at what it's like to be a teenager with powers, for good and bad. Why do people become villains? Why do young people feel the need to attack each other? What drives our main characters, and what will they do when pushed to their limits? It's a harder story than vol. 1, and darker, but it represents a level of maturity and depth that gives a good glimpse at some of what this series is going to do over the long-haul. Oh, and the team goes out to karaoke for an issue, because even our dark stories have some light in them!

It's also a harder sell. Second volumes never perform as well as first volumes, that's just a rule of comics (and entertainment in general). But for us, that rule is dangerous - we have to move a certain number of these, or Diamond won't ship any. That means we need you!!!
