We have emerged from our darkened hovel, squinting again at the light. We have seen Florida’s MegaCon and returned triumphant. And now, dear friends, it is at last time to celebrate! For we now release Rainbow in the Dark #6 into the world! Huzzah!

The survival of the new community in the city stands on the brink as those who resent life outside the gloom conspire with the Veratu to tear it all down. Raina tries to put her struggles behind her, Donna finally understands the power driving this world, and her father tries to rediscover what really matters to him, but all are unaware of the chaos and devastation about to hit. Pandemonium Panic Some will live, some will die, and everything will change as the curtain falls.

Issue 6 is the last chapter in the second volume of the story, meaning there’s only one volume left. As we end volume 2, we’re reflecting on how it all came out, and we’re really happy. This set of issues (4-6) are possibly the finest comics we’ve ever made. It was so hard to make #6 that we were afraid we’d never want to look at it again, only remembering the struggle and unable to appreciate what we had made. But as soon as we got to look at the book in our hands, we felt deeply proud of what we’ve done.

We sincerely hope you can enjoy this as much. We’re doing our best to make that possible – as of right this second, you can head to the Rainbow in the Dark website and buy issue #6 in either PDF or CBZ format for just .99 cents. But wait, there’s more!

We are proud to announce that, starting today, we’re available for purchase through Graphicly! That’s right, the complete Comfort & Adam library is available from one of the very finest online comic distributors out there. And coming soon, you'll be able to download collected volumes as single files - digital trade paperbacks! Awesome! When you buy the Uniques or Rainbow from Graphicly, you’ll also be treated to their great “guided view” presentation, which leads you through the comic in a very cinematic way. Having read through them all, we’re really impressed with how it looks. We think you’ll like it, too.

So there you go, everybody! Head to our website to check out the new issue, or straight to Graphicly to see our sweet setup on their site. There’s never been a better time than now. And in a short while, you’ll be able to order paper copies of the new issue of Rainbow, plus the new TPB collection of Volume 2. Good stuff abounds, so I'll cut you loose to check it out.

Once again, nice work, sir. You two have outdone yourselves yet again, especially in the art department, IMO. Even after reading the issue twice now, I'm blown away by the scope and density of each page. At this rate, I'm afraid you won't make it to issue nine because your fingers will have fallen off by then. ;)

Thanks, Travis. It was NOT easy. We've gone on record saying it's the hardest issue we've ever done, and I stand by that. But I'm also glad that it shines. It's easy when things get really hard to let the quality slip after a while because it's such a struggle to finish that you don't have the energy to make it really good. But that didn't happen here, I don't think, and I'm really happy for that.

Check out my webcomic, Fatherhood! Laugh at the smart-assery, applaud the beatings I receive for it and marvel at how my wife hasn't outright killed me. [link]

I have got to start reading this. I ate through The Uniques' Omnibus so fast and I've been starving for a good comic book. :3 Glad to know you guys are always there to provide.

I like to think that Rainbow and Uniques are two great tastes that taste great together, but I'm biased. ;)

I'll be sure to return with unbiased feedback. ... Maybe unbiased feedback. I still have the two prints I bought from you and Comfort at Dragon*Con two years ago. They're too pretty to let go. XD
