This is another commissioned piece, and another set of firsts for me. The first time I've hand-rendered clouds, the first hand-rendered Mountains, the first try at more realistic grass, and the first full-body Wonder Woman I've actually liked. Trust me, that's saying something.

See, the Amazon is a woman that's hard to portray. She has to be beautiful, sure, but also strong and regal. That balance between physical power, physical beauty, and a deep inner peace and poise is a very difficult one to maintain. Some artists make her too skinny and frail, some actually manage to draw her looking vapid and brainless, and still others overemphasize her musculature. Few get the balance right, and while I don't think I truly nailed it, I came close enough to be happy with this one.
