Uniques issue 7 pg 13

This is a page from Uniques #7: Barbecue. We're introducing a lot of new characters in this issue, and this page spotlights some of the Nerd Patrol; Motherboard's close friends and partners-in-nerdlery. When we mentioned her D&D group back in issue 3? Yeah, it's these guys. Oh, and that Ray guy we name-dropped in issue 5? That's him with the dark hair, dusky skin, and blue t-shirt.

Also among their membership is Kyle, Motherboard's little brother. He's the guy in the Star Wars shirt with the glasses and shaggy hair. The last two members are Tim "Wheels" Wheelan and Tim "Beels" Bealish (based on our real-life good friend and gaming buddy, )

We're building a supporting cast. It's a big deal to us; the supporting cast makes a book shine and adds more depth to the world. What's Superman without Lois, Jimmy, Perry and the Daily Planet? And no, they aren't as essential to a team book like ours, but there they are. More flavor to the cooking pot. We're working on a class-A goulash, and it takes lots of sauce.
