Commission for the At-Home Con 2011; Copic marker, ink, white paint pen.
Tried a different "fancier" paper for this one and hated it immediately. Could NOT get the smooth gradients I like, and it would get kind of a clay texture if I went over an area too much. Won't be using this stuff again.
But this is the first Tomb Raider pic I think I've done in my life, which I guess is kind of weird considering I'm of the generation that experienced the Lara Croft phenomenon from the beginning all the way to the now.
It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed letting myself get into her character so much that I picked up the Tomb Raider: Legend and Underworld games (super cheap) and loved the hell out of them. I'm now after all these years a Lara fan, and totally dreading the all-action, super-generic looking TR reboot game. Yaaaay.

I love the Tomb Raider series of games -- TR was the first video game I played all the way through when it came out in 1996. I think the powerful perspective of her forward leg and the fine lines and details in her costume really make this piece pop! For example, her boots are the kind of @$$ kickers I'd imagine an @$$ kicker like Lara would wear. I like how you (and Comfort) have that particular nose style, btw. Thank for discussing how you keep your lines clean in the comments below, useful!
