This one's something of a departure for me. It's based on a few tutorials I came across while looking for other stuff, combined with that sweet Coldplay iTunes add from a while back. I had the image in my head for a while, but didn't know what character to use it for - then I thought about Starman. Me, being a huge Jack Knight fan, went for it immediately.

But... I don't know. I like it, I guess, but it isn't what I wanted it to be. I'm probably not done with it; at the very least I'll probably add a logo or something. There's a lot of negative space right now and I'm just not sold on what I've got. Maybe I'll like it better later, but as of now it's in my 'Don't Know How I Feel' pile.

Still, it's Starman. I love me some Starman. :D

Awesome, Starmans been one of my favorite series ever since I read it.

Any chance you'll ever do "The Shade"?
I mean, you can't have Jack without Mr. Swift.

At least they gave her a fair intro at the end of Jack's run. Robinson made the whole book about legacy, and when he explained the handoff to Stargirl it made sense. I'd have been more upset if it was just something Johns did because he felt like it ;)

...Maybe. Much as I DO love Shade, I've got so little time to do these kinds of side-projects while still getting my comic drawn and colored that I tend to stick with projects or characters I've been DYING to do when I get the chance for the exceedingly rare non-Uniques pinup.

I've never heard of "Starman" (and I think I should :P) I'll have to add that to my list of stuff to see.
