A side project I've been chipping away at since last year. I've wanted to do a big SW piece forEVER, but kept making the mistake of planning things too big for me to have the time to actually accomplish. This managed to be a piece that both gave me the chance to draw most of what I'd want to do with the classic trilogy, while still being a manageable piece of work to get done.

Even if all it did was give me a chance to do a nice Ackbar bust, it was all worth it. :iconackbarplz:

**UPDATE** I recently bought a color-correct monitor, and it allowed me to go back into some of my work and make some corrections that had been bugging me for a long time, but which I couldn't fix on the old monitor I had. I feel MUCH better about this version.

And my beautiful wife :iconcomfortlove: has completed a partner-piece for this one featuring the prequel-era, but largely based on the superb Clone Wars TV show. We had always conceived these as two halves of one massive image, and now you can see it the way it was intended to be seen. Check it out and give her the love she deserves!

Oh, the times. We just finished watching the "lost season" of the Clone Wars cartoon, and I was fiending for some Star Wars gaming something fierce.

We've tried it and it isn't as effective as you'd hope. It's hard to keep everybody invested and on the same page, story-wise.

phooey. i blame you for not providing an engaging story...

that's not true. i immediately retract my previous statement.

Yay! Greedo just barely made the shot... and now that I wrote that, I realize that it can be taken another way. :D
