When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

This is an original character from the core cast of the comic I and my wife
Scout is easily one of my favorite characters of our team, and in part that’s because he’s an amalgam of a lot of my other favorite characters - Robin, Spider-Man, Kyle Rayner, and others. He isn’t a direct correlation to them, and is quite different from any of them, but there are things we’re doing with Scout that come from me brainstorming what I wish I could have done with somebody like Robin, but won’t ever have the ability to. So he’s kind of our token ‘Sidekick’ character - and is really the only one on the team. To that end, his story will take him through the rigors of having to maintain two allegiances: one to the team and his only real friends, and the other to his mentor Ghost, who took him in, trained him, and with whom his relationship is growing strained as he grows older and begins questioning his path. You can read more about Scout’s origin, powers, and story in his 'Better Know a Unique' entry on our blog: [link] |

now time to be a fellow artist and drop a comment about the piece. I dig it accept for one thing. his left foot (my right) looks a little bit big. long and kinda clown-shoe-esk to me. maybe I'm just picky but I would say bring that back just a bit and it would be perfect. all around though nice job.
He shares a similar look and appeal with Spiderman and Robin, and that fucking Invincible kid.... i just started reading that book and I can't for the life of me remember his name.
Anyway, no major critiques on the drawing. LucianX mentioned the right foots length and I agree with that. I like the very classic design of his costume.

My BRAAAAAAIIIN hurts....
And the Invincible kid's name is...Invincible. Or Mark, if you're friendly. Best superhero book on the market, and I'm a picky guy.

Of course, much of that was trained, too. His natural abilities have been heightened greatly by intensive physical training. So yeah, he's got some powers, but they're not the big, dramatic, fight-winning types of things the other characters have.
