And here they are - the main characters of Ronin Warriors and the main rivalry. While I never much cared for Ryo, and got REALLY tired of the show licking out his butt all the time and giving him all the attention while the other Ronin just sorta sat around cheering him on, Anubis was a great character. He had the biggest arc of any person on the show, and his path from villain to hero was a great one.

So I guess it figures that my favorite of the RW illustrations I've done just has to be with my least-favorite of the heroes. Facepalm.

Anubis definitely got shafted at the end. Would have been a great OVA if they used all nine armors and brought him back.

Man, all this RW art you're drawing is just making me Nostalgic. Perhaps now that the heads of CN finally got some brains and brought Toonami back, they'll bring back classics like this and sailor Moon, or even Teknoman. (Although I won't get my hopes up to high for that last one...)

I don't ink. It's just pencil - B lead in .03 and .09 mechanical pencils.

Oh I see! Well I'll say; your lines sure are sharp and crisp! I could hardly tell if it was pencil or ink! But you sure have pulled it off!
