A new promo piece for Rainbow in the Dark featuring lead character Donna and her family. Don't know the book? You can get the first issue FREE at the website, and the rest of the issues are only .99 cents! *end shameless plug*

Done for RitD vol. 2, it showcases the dominant struggle of issues 4-6; namely, Donna's family dealing with the fall of the Gloom over their city. Her father looking hopeful, her mother scared and depressed, and her sister transitioning into color.

This volume was the first that I got to draw Donna myself. For issues 1-3, she was in gray and so Comfort drew her. Once she turned to color she became mine, and boy am I happy she did. I love drawing this girl! She's got so much sweetness and expressiveness to her. I just want to give her a hug every time I'm done.

There are ways in which I'll be really glad when Rainbow is finished, but one thing I'll really miss is drawing Donna and Raina together.

Donna´s expression is really cool. It makes the watcher curious to find out what she seems to look at, what the question might be that can be read in her face.
I´ll wait until the series is finished, then I´ll buy the printed version if available. The first issue already caught me, but I´m a bit short of money at the moment.

Really cool piece guys. I especially like how you merged the hair of the sister and mother so that it belonged to both of them, while remaining unique to each. Dunno why, but I just like it.
