I like Optimus. I do. But if I'm being honest, he's kind of boring. Don't get me wrong - he should be boring. He's the kindly old leader archetype, and he needs to be the straight man for everybody else to play off of. But he isn't in my Top 5 Transformers. Not even my Top 10. I'm always surprised so many people love him so much when I find him to be so very, very dull.
