Artist's Comments

This is a sketch of two characters from the Star Wars RPG I run. Afree Kelbourne is a Chev Jedi PC played by my wife, :iconcomfortlove: and Xun Liu is a human Jedi NPC. The game takes place during the Jedi Purge and the Dark Times after Episode III, and these two managed to find love and marry in the midst of the madness.

High praise indeed. I'm a big McNiven fan, and particularly the way he does hair. I'm also a big Travis Charest fan, and that's where even McNiven got a lot of his influence. In fact, you can trace a lot of it back to paintings by Mucha, which inspired the lot of us.

McNiven is my favorite artist :D but I'm sad to say I've never heard of the other two I'll have to go look them up.

Do it! You'll be glad you did. Charest is one of the greatest comic artists not doing anything today :D and Mucha is just a classic.
